Impressive Debuts Empty Impressive Debuts

Post by Dan on Tue Aug 16, 2011 3:47 pm

Who caught your eye on the opening day of the season debut wise? Have to say Augero obviously looked the part he is hyped up to be, but also Swansea's keeper 'Vorm' looked very good in goal, even though he conceded 4 goals, would of been many more if he wasn't for him!

Who else impressed for you?

Aye Vorm and Aguero were probably the picks.

Brown was immense for us like but wasnt sure whether you meant debuts for clubs or premier league debuts.

Gary Neville to Roberto Mancini: Bet you didn't expect me to be interviewing you *laughs*

Fucking cringeworthy, and an absolutely appalling pundit, i never thought another person could fuck about with the stupid arrows and all that after Andy Gray but bloody hell, he does.

I actually thought that before the shit kicked off, Gervinho was the only decent attacking player on either side. Obviously it ended badly with him rightly being sent off, but every single attack of worth that Arsenal did was entirely his work. he didn't seem great at the final ball though...

Kieron Dyer was a hell of a player too. Could have been one of the best players in England, but injuries just messed it all up.

Was good in Robson's team, though. I think he probably could have made the squad as a backup midfielder.

sorry, was he a striker?

And of those 30 caps were even 10 of them starts?

The answer to both is no. He was actually primarily a central midfielder, and he was definitely good enough to play for England before his injury troubles started.
