"Left" o2 in December - now at a company that does Network Solutions (network cables, HP switches , wireless systems) for schools across the north west / north wales - I'm doing the sales / marketing, but the boss is training me up on the technical side of it - all the actual cabling / network installs / switch configuration etc.
Goes hand in hand with the ICT / Business Degree I'm 3 months into with the OU.

Yeah things are cushdy thanks, been living with me mrs for about 8 months now, re-decorated most of her flat and sorted the garden as mentioned. Became an Uncle in April. Work wise I got a promotion a couple of months back and off on Holiday 3 weeks tomorrow so all in all I have zero complaints.

Aye - things went pear shaped at the end of my time at o2 - partly me own fault, but was also a political decision - managers looking after each other and all that... Shit happens - just got to deal with it and move on, innit?
Turns out to be one of the best things that ever happened to me - moneys about the same, but better prospects and SO much more autonomy and responsibility.
The whole infrastructure side of things takes a while to get your head round like, but I think I'm getting the hang of it! Selling is selling, where ever you are, but the network side of things took a wile to get used to!
